Our mountain farm is located between the Dachstein-Tauern-Schladming-region in the resort Pichl/ Mandling in Styria and the world of Sports Ski Amadé. With this large selection everyone, whether beginner or Ski-pro, will find the right slope in a breathtakingly beautiful nature. Enjoy the view of the mountains. Do not forget the Aprés Ski in our Ski lodges where your physical comfort will be provided for.
Your next resort is the Reiteralm, which is about 5 kilometers from our house and it is the epitome of Austrian skiing. Cross Country & Schladming night slalom:
From our farm you can get directly to the Rittis cross country ski run. This trail leads around the Rittisberg and past some quaint cottages that invite you to rest. Whether beginner or cross country skiing pro, you will find excellent ski conditions in the WM place Ramsau am Dachstein. (Here is a current trail map Ramsau am Dachstein 2010/2011) If you are already practiced on long runa, you will need about 30 minutes from the Sonnenalm to the football stadium . There are also several other opportunities to pursue the Nordic sport in the region. You can find both on the Gnadenalm in Obertauern or on Roßbrand in Filzmoos mostly good tracks and both are not far away from us. each year the night race in Schladming is the highlight of the skiing World Cup in Salom. The entire world elite in the ski slalom in Schladming is our guest and you can experience their skiing skills live. Date: Every year around 20th to 30th January.
 
Toboggan run on Rittisberg:
Get on the slide down into the valley! The toboggan run on Rittisberg in Ramsau am Dachstein is 3.5 km long and is in operation at night. You only need to take a comfortable chair ride up the mountain and you can head off into the valley. Good and cheap, what else could you wish for on your holiday?
A little tip: the toboggan run is lit and moonlight tobogganing is certainly an unforgettable experience.
If there is enough snow, you can directly slide from our Sonnenalm, which is not far from our farm, to the Irxner farm. Tobbogans are available on site free of charge.
We also offer other activities in the village or nearby for your winter holiday like sleigh rides, snow shoeing, swimming in the pool in case of bad weather and more.
